At Cozi Caza, it is all about giving existing furniture new value. As far as I am concerned, old, vintage, and used chairs and armchairs with a good foundation do not deserve a place in the trash, but a second life.
By reupholstering furniture, renewing the internals where necessary, and making conscious choices regarding color and material, a unique piece of furniture is created that will last for many more years.
In the webshop, you will find a changing collection of chairs and armchairs that I have selected to upcycle and reupholster. Some have already been completely renewed, while others are still waiting for their transformation.
In addition, I make cushions from leftover fabrics, among other things. In this way, I try to reuse materials as much as possible.

How do I work?
From my upholstery studio in Gorinchem, I give existing chairs and armchairs a second life.
A chair or armchair with a good foundation doesn't have to be new to last for years to come. That is why I look for existing furniture with potential and give it a new life through reupholstering and upcycling.
Before I reupholster a piece of furniture myself, I first offer it via Claim & Create and on Instagram. You can then claim the furniture and choose a fabric with me that suits your taste and interior. I then take care of the complete transformation.
If a piece of furniture is not claimed, I choose the materials myself and give it a new look. Afterwards, it becomes available in the webshop as a unique, fully reupholstered piece of furniture.
Having a piece of furniture reupholstered yourself?
Do you have a chair, armchair, or other upholstered furniture at home that is still in good condition, but whose fabric or internal structure has seen better days? In that case, too, you can come to Cozi Caza.
Together, we look at what is needed and which fabric, color, and look suit both the furniture and your interior.
In this way, something that is old or worn out does not have to be replaced, but can actually be the beginning of something new.
About
Cozi Caza combines my love for interiors with the craft of furniture upholstery. As an interior designer, I look not only at the furniture itself, but also at the space in which it will be placed.
Which color suits the interior? Which fabric enhances the shape of a chair? And how can we preserve something existing instead of replacing it?
It is precisely this combination of interior design, reupholstering, and reuse that forms the basis of Cozi Caza.
